The main struggle I have with my health and food is my blood sugar. I haven't said much about it on this blog.
When I was a little girl, and of course, even now, and I would hear a whisper or even just a pleasant voice, it would send tingles to the back of my head and even down my spine. It would relax me and even make me sleepy. I've experience this sensation for as long as I can remember. I had no idea what the sensation was called or if anyone else experienced it. All I knew was that I loved having someone read to me every night.
Of course it's important to take care of yourself year-round, but why not use this season of love and thankfulness to start showing yourself some care?
In most cases, out "go-to" relaxation before bed is screen time...spending an hour, or more with the TV on or with our phone in our face. But we all know that that's not healthy for us. Yet, it has become a habit for us, and one that is hard for us to break. It's a bad habit for myself as well.
