If you have read my past few blog posts, you’ll know that I am focusing on self care this year. And even though taking care of the mind and soul is extremely important, I also believe that if you look well, you will feel well.

With that said, while I don’t spend hours on beauty and skin care, I do make sure I wash and exfoliate my face daily. I also try to keep my hair in good health by only washing it 3 times per week, and using dry shampoo on my off days. Making sure I have a routine for both my face and hair is key, and my routine is pretty simple.

Here are some of my recent essentials:

Basis Cleaner Clean Face Wash, 6 Fluid Ounces: I absolutely love this face wash. It feels a lot more natural than any other wash that I have used. It is gently enough that I can use every day, even twice per day if I need to. My face feels baby soft and super clean after using it.

St. Ives Face Scrub Apricot 6 oz: What I love about this exfoliator is that I can use it every day, and I do! It’s so gentle but it gets the job done and it even though I use it every day, it does not dry out my face. My face feels smooth, fresh, and ready to go. It’s so important to have smooth, clean skin before putting make up on and especially after you take it off, and with this scrub, I never have to worry about it.

Eva NYC Mane Magic 10-in-1 Primer, 6 Ounce: This is the holy grail of hair products, and I only say that if I mean it. I spritz this in my hair after every shower and not only does it decrease the drying time, but it softens my hair and detangles it. Combing my hair after I get out of the shower is SO much easier. Get it, you won’t regret it.
