A Spa Day With Saranghae: Check Out Their Latest Products

It’s fall, and that means that taking care of your skin extremely important for the next few months. Between all of the season’s festivities, to simply wanting your skin to look great for work or other day-to-day things, it’s important to keep your skin clear, soft, smooth, and bright! Especially with what make-up can do to our faces over time, making your skin a priority is crucial.

Earlier this year, I had the amazing opportunity to collaborate with the Korean skincare company, Saranghae, and review their 5-step routine. But this time, I got to try out their charcoal mask and toner and am happy to report that I fell in love with both products! Here’s the scoop:

If there’s one thing to know about me when it comes to my skincare inventory, it’s that I have an endless supply of face masks. I have a few charcoal ones (some peel off and others are wash off), hydration sheet masks, and even one that stays on over night. My favorite ones are the charcoal masks because they really dig deep into the pores and pull the crud out of them. I know, it’s such a lovely image… but it’s the truth!

One of the cool things about this mask is that when I applied it, it wasn’t overly thick. I have that issue with a lot of the masks that I use and it’s a bit unnecessary. But with this one by Saranghae, a thin layer is just as effective. The mask is a tad sticky when you first squeeze it out of the container, but I found that adding just a little bit of water makes it a thousand times easier to apply. Like any mask, I left it on for 10 minutes, and then rinsed it off.

The formula for this mask includes a few interesting ingredients including lavender, Japanese pepper fruit, and Korean pasque flower. It smells as good as it sounds and will leave you with a fresh face!

So I have a small confession to make… when I want to cheat on the day’s skincare routine, sometimes I just use toner in the morning instead of totally washing my face. Of course you should make an effort to complete the Saranghae 5-step routine and use this as well, but if you’re going to just use a toner during the morning rush, this is the one to use. I use the full 5-step routine at night time and then when I wake-up, I use the toner. It’s interesting to look at my cotton pad afterwards to see all of the excess oils taken off my face. It really gets the job done!

I’ll admit that when I first unscrewed the cap, it took me a second to figure out how to pour the toner onto my cotton pad. But then I figured out that by tapping it onto a cotton pad, the toner will release, and in perfect amounts.

The scent is really luxurious, made up of 10 active Asian botanicals! From the moment you take the cap off, you can close your eyes, and the scent takes you away to the spa of your dreams. Try it out! You won’t regret it.

Before I go pamper myself with my Saranghae products, I have to show off this #SpaBand because it not only keeps the hair out of my face, but it’s definitely one of the softest things I have ever touched.
