Things I Love

Fashioned for Spring

I recently got myself a pair of Michael Kors flats for work and I want to wear them every single day! However,  I want to keep them in good condition, so I know that doing so may not be the best decision. But, for the first week… you gotta break them in, right?

But even more than that, I decided that it is time for spring! So I definitely felt inspired to use some fun, bright colors in my outfits lately.

With that said, here are my recent three favorite outfits, (with the shoes) 🙂

My first outfit was this pairing of shoes with my salmon colored Calvin Klein shirt and trousers from Talbots! I decided that even though my shoes were pretty fabulous, my outfit still needed a focal point so I wore a pastel pink and mint statement necklace. It was a perfect balance of fun and professional.

I had so much fun creating this look! It all started with the shirt, and wanting to wear it with these aqua colored earrings! With these dress pants that I got from LOFT, I found my spring wedges that include a few shades of blue in them. This is actually my only pair of shoes that I own that have a print on them. Since my outfit included all solid colors, I knew it was a safe bet. I am not one to mix patterns. I’ve seen it done, but unless I learn how to do it, I play it safe. (Boring…yeah, probably.)

By the way, the shoes are super comfy. They’re kind of like those Naturalizer shoes, with great support/cushion.

This was my favorite outfit of the week because I got to pull out my spring dressy tank for the first time in a while. I am also obsessed with the jeans I was wearing and have multiple pairs of them. They’re by Lee and I literally own 6 pairs in skinny and straight leg. They fit me perfectly as they have a bit of a stretch so they’re comfortable, and they will last a long time! And of course, the new favorite shoes.
