I love carbs. I love eating.
But to be honest, I know I need to watch my carb intake.
I usually don’t feel like I have enough time to whip up a fully balanced meal. However, this only takes two minutes to put together and it is SO good.
I don’t know it’s real name, but I call it the “Easy Lettuce Wrap “. It’s basically a sandwich that substitutes bread with lettuce.
Personally, I prefer a pretty basic sandwich so this only has ham and cheese but you can add whatever you want!
To make this, I rinsed off two pieces of lettuce and laid them on my plate. I then took the deli meat and cheese of my choice and laid the slices on top. Next, I rolled it up from one end, up. However, feel free to roll it from the sides. It’s up to you! I usually only use mayonnaise if I’m making a sandwich with bread, but add condiments if you’d like.
You can also add some peeled carrots (although I am eating baby carrots as a side), sliced apple or tomatoes, or any fruit/veggie you want.
Add a side of yogurt, veggies, or pita chips, and you’re good to go!
This meal also goes really well with a smoothie.
